Shop Talk

well, Mummy and auntee Em have been busy deciding on the new year things for the shop...v. excitin but my lips are sealed...

I have been working in the shop a bit lately , I loves it I do:

I think I have perfected the smile with snootiness shop girl look, alth0ugh Mummy says that isn't what they are really looking for?!

Sad news last week, the shop got flooded - with Water! A pipe burst or something, and luckily there were Kingsley people walking past who noticed it, could have been much, much worse. I got to chill with auntee Em while mummy mopped it all up ;) This was the 'after' shot, s'all dry now though :)

anyways we are off to the shop to make xmas deccy's (well I am probably just going to roll around....

I have been doing a little bit of screen printing at the workshop today, with auntee Em, Mummy and one of my bezzies - Scarlie Rose x We were printing pretty ballet dancers for Auntee Jen ....Check out the website here - I want a dance party!!

Mummy got me the biggest cake in the world but it all got eatted - you can't beat a bit of devonshire cake (so I am told).

No pics this time i'm afraid but things are settling down a bit at this end so hopefully more regular updates to follow..

Sunny Barmouth

Well, what a week!

We stayed in a beautiful big house overlooking the harbour (the doggies 'specially loved sitting in the big window in G-ma's room and barking at the boats an' stuff!).
The house had 3 storeys and I had my own room on the top floor, with mummy and daddy next door of course!

We had a few 'chill' days (it rained), but managed a few good walks, a day at the lush Portmeirion...lots of goodies in the gift shop, although think mummy was more interested in staking out new suppliers instead of buying me stuff :( - managed to blag a tea set and a cute little night light though :)

We went out on to the beach a few times, the doggies went CRAZY!

lots of meal out, on the seafront and many new foods for me to try too....

Is summer over?

Hi all,

I have been enjoying the few days of fair weather we have had this week, with a little bit of shade bathing with mummy and a couple of trips to Froddy. Last weekend was G-ma's birthday, so auntee Em booked a lovely meal - in a tent?
We went to Arley Hall, where there is a farm called Stockley Farm. They had put up a super big tent (called a 'yurt' apparently) and cooked lots of their nice fresh veggies..which I got to taste a few of....
.............
I wore a fabulous zebra print frock that auntee Em bought for me.
So lots of lunch (and champagne) later, as you can imagine I was super tired.....but a lovely bumpy car ride home and I was away :)

We are off on our Jollys tomorrow - sunny Barmouth, in a country called Wales - they speak another language too, how exciting! Mummy is making lists and packing the whole house up so I can puke and dribble on as many clothes as I want :)
The Doggies are coming too so not sure I will be able to sleep on this car journey but its not too far.

However, maybe even more exciting than going on holiday....when I get back i am going to meet Auntie Karen from Chi-town eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeek!!! She has fabulous taste in clothes so I am hoping to have a little bit of a gossip with her x

Also 4 boxes of flyers arrived today for Mummy, for her new shop.....and clever Uncle Dan has managed to get a bit of info on her recrafted website too, its all kicking off!

anyways, catch up with my welshploits next week,

sunbathing, sun, etc

Hi all,

Well finally, the weather has sorted itself out (just in time for the big kiddies to return to school!). Mummy took me to Castle Park in Frodders on Tuesday afternoon, can't wait to be able to go on the new playground - especially the boat thing.

Went to see Scarlett yesterday, what a lovely house and garden - lucky thing!! Jen showed us pics of Letties bedroom too - so fun, I want rainbows and hot air balloons!

Today, we had to wait in for deliveries.......dull (also, how many boxes can our house take?) though Auntee Em came round for a quick cuddle, which was top banana.
Mummy let me sunbathe outside for a little bit (in the shade though - kinda defeats the point right?) Makes me excited for our holiday in a week!

Today - I have been mostly wearing dungas, so comfy. Mummy is choosing some stock for her shop and was looking at Clothkits, I want the Traffic dungas!

wardrobe dilemmas

Hi all,

What is with the weather - honestly, I don't know what to wear at the moment!
Mummy is having to put me in long sleeve tops and tights under my lovely summer dresses, so unfair!
Here is a couple of my latest - not so wintery - offerings though - should brighten things up a bit!

However, still looking forward to the A/W season .....love a good pair of tights!

New Stuff!

Hi all, I know you have all probably seen my swanky new high chair in a previous pic, but I just love it SO much I though I would show you the first pics....

When mummy made it in the lounge I was desperate for a go, so persuaded her to let me watch Jezza while sitting in it - super view! She has moved it in to the kitchen now AND banned me from watching that 'trash' - how rude!

Never mind........Moo x x

P.S - DNA results showed that he wasn't the father!

Thursday Blues

Oh woe is me - SO tired after my exploits yesterday.....Mummy and I decided to have a PJ day! It was going so well - I even saw Daddy before he went off to bed :)

Anyways we were chilling in the lounge and Mummy decided to give me a manicure - brill, she was doing a lovely job then snip - ouch! she cut a big chunk out of my finger boo hooo hooo..
I have to admit I had a bit of a wail - such a shock I suppose :(

Mummy was very sorry but couldn't stop it bleeding, she had to make me a special finger bandage and kiss it better:

Its ok now but I won't be looking forward to the next manicure!

Manchester Tart

Well - what a day Wednesday was.....I went shopping in Manchester with Mummy and auntee Em!
First we went down to the Craft and design centre - lush.
Mummy had a chat with a couple of people about putting their lovely things in her shop - yummy!

We had to stop in Costa for my brekkie, love having a latte with Em

We then had to trawl around the shops - yawn, although I did get to check out some of the new stuff for winter - v. exciting! (I am trying to grow super fast so that I can get a new wardrobe!)

We then had to go to Wagamama's for my lunch - love the noodles:
well its acually the chopsticks that caught my eye :)

anyways - a very long day later, it was straight home to bath and bed for me - although I am sure there was some new shoes sneaked in for me after bedtime!

Long time no blog....

Hi guys - just realised its been 10 days since my last entry - sorry x
So what have I been doing in that time you ask..?

#1 exciting - helping mummy start her new venture - she is opening craft/sewing workshops at Lady Heyes in October and there is SO much to do!

#2 exciting - my door bouncy thing - love, love, love it!

#3 exciting - I went out twice last weekend! On friday night we went to Auntie Ems for a meal (no - of course I didn't eat, I'm a baby!?) then on Saturday night G-ma and GG had a massive BBQ, although Daddy said that G-ma was silly for thinking that he could cook enough food for everyone on the 4 little BBQ's she has - oops!

Then Beth (who belongs to cousin Dan - Birtles not Oppy, confusing) and Thomas decided to play with a pair of handcuffs - yes you guessed it, there wasn't a key! How many Bigs do you think it takes to remove a pair of handcuffs without the key........ answers on a postcard please!

anyways - gotta go get frocked up, going out for tea and cake (surprisingly!) with Mummy and Daddy!

see ya soon x

Exciting times ahead!

Well, I am growing SO quickly Mummy says it will be no time before I get to eat proper food! I have to sit and watch every tuesday as all the Mummys scoff cake - can't wait til I can join in!

Speaking of cake - I have convinced Mummy that an alternative christening party would be a super idea....Auntie Em has designed a wonderful invite and Mummy said she is going to Devonshire (not sure where that is - down south somewhere near Uncle Rod?) to get my cake :)

The only thing I need to worry about now is what to wear....!!!!

P.S please let me have your party ideas @ millicentbaby@hotmail.com - thanks x

Poorly Moo

Hi all,

Not been feeling my best today, I am full of cold and to top it all off - poked myself in the eye + gave myself a right nasty scratch :( Must have been all the excitement over the weekend!

Mummy and me had a pj day today so I could get better and I slept lots.. felt a bit better after lunch..... had visits from Nana, Gramps and G-ma though, which was nice.

Nana had taken all Mummy and Daddy's washing away on Friday, Mummy said it was like a little miracle that it arrived back all clean and in folded little piles! Daddy said it must have been like a chinese laundry at their house - not sure what that means!?

Daddy still hasn't got his van back yet so I was lucky enough to see him for a bit today, he made my pram in to a buggy (which is good 'cause I had to bend my legs to fit them in the pram - could report them for child cruelty I reckon).

Here are some pics of my first buggy trip with Pig and Ringo....there's so much to see out there!

Midland Madness!

Wow, what a great weekend! I have been down to the Midlands to visit lots of people....on Friday we went to Melton Mowbray (where the pies are made!) to see baldy Neil and LouLou...I did some drinking with the boys in the pub, which felt a bit naughty!

Then we tripped over to Leicester to see Uncle Paul and Auntie Zo...they live in a big showhome which is spotless...although that had changed a bit by the time I had left :)

Daddy and Uncle paul did a BBQ in the rain - idiots!

It was a bit funny sleeping in a different bed and room and all but I was a brave girl and slept nearly all night on friday - by saturday I was ok and Mummy said she had her 'Angel Baby' back.

On Saturday we went to see Hayley, Tilly and Sam... Mummy says I should be very grateful to Tilly and Sam 'cause I am using all their stuff , my cot used to be theirs too! Even though they have already given me so much - they had a little pressie for me, Cordy Roy the cat, he is so soft and I just love to stare at him. (think you can see him in the photo below)

We then went in to Leicester to do some shopping - honestly, what a ridiculous idea that was, I had to sleep through most of it so I didn't get stressed....although I did wake up for a browse around the baby section in John Lewis - lush x

On sunday we went to the Ferrers Centre, well cute! I was pretending to be asleep but I know that Mummy bought me a tea set in a picnic hamper and Uncle Po bought me a cupcake set...can't wait until I am 3 and I can play with them!

Slept all the way home and then straight to bed for me x x

There's a bat in me kitchen what am I gonna dooooo!?

Hank the cat has been very busy over the past couple of nights - first he bought in a froggy (which I heard Daddy putting outside at 4am!) and then last night he brought in a poor little bat - a young fella which is in a shoe box in the kitchen getting better - ah x Daddy is busy trying to get a bat person to come and collect him...will let you know how that goes.

Yesterday we went to the baby class and learned about sleep - Mummy said we didn't need to learn about that because I am the 'Angel child' - ha! I just love my sleep x

Anyways - I was wearing these lovely dunga's from Pumpkin Patch which are SOO comfy. Unfortunately - yes you guessed it - I had a little accident and had to change, right in the middle of the class, with all the other babies watching - TOTALLY EMBARRASING :(
We then went to Nana's so mummy could go and do a bit of shopping..I was awful tired so have to admit, had a bit of a cry :( Anyways, they got me some wind up and sorted me out in the end.

I was too polite to say at the time, and had a little laugh with Daddy when I got home, but Nana put my nappy on back to front - hehe!

Today was well busy - first I went to see Rach and Harry (who is looking rather hunky now let me tell ya) Harry is crawling now and I really want to have a go!
We then went to see GG (great grandma) and ended up taking her out for lunch...I slept through that though.
Daddy then joined us (yay!) and we went down to Costa for a cuppa and a cake (slept through that one too - oops!)
Then we finally got home (have to admit, I was a tad narky - but what do they expect hey?) and G-ma popped round. I had a little chill and we read a mag together:

I was reading about the autumn/winter runway looks so I can plan my winter wardrobe!

Anyways - early night cause I am tired out!

Off to stay with Uncle Paul and auntie Zo tomorrow so catch up with you early next week

Double, double toil and trouble;

Hi all, been up to the Wirral today to see Mummy's friends from work...3 lovely ladies called Ang, Amelia and Karen - I had cuddles from them all and Amelia especially, made me laugh lots and lots. There was funny men there too but they seemed quite busy!

Not sure why today's blog has got this title but Mummy told me to put it up, said it would be funny cause the pictures look like a scene from 'the Scottish play'!? Maybe I will learn about that when I go to school?

We then had to do a bit of food shopping (boring!) but I did cheer up a little when Mummy headed down the baby aisle :) unfortunately we just bought new vests which was a bit sad, but I am growing too quick and need to get through all the outfits that are already in my wardrobe!

will be meeting up with my baby friends tomorrow (yes, in the pub - of course!) which is exciting and we are going to the clinic to get me weighed too - lets see how much I have really grown!

'nother Christening!

Hi all, Uncle Paul and Auntie Zo were up to see me this weekend so have been rather busy!

We went to the pub on friday night and mummy said I was very good + I stayed up really late too! Mummy moaned that even though I had a late night I still woke up at the same time - whatev's!

On Saturday night Daddy did a big BBQ and lots of people came over, this time I was sent to bed - no fair!

On Sunday we went to Isla Rose's Christening - again, at Nana's church. Unfortunately my other baby friends couldn't make it but we had a lovely time anyways.
Isla had a lovely frock on and she looked very pretty (as did her mummy - and my mummy obv!)
- it got me thinking, maybe I should have one of these Christening things, I could get a new frock and have a party too!
Will run that one by Ma and Pa and let you know :)

Water Baby

hey all,

Phew what a day! I have been swimming with mummy today - it was so exciting! lots of lights and big plants and splishy splashy water! I have had to nap all afternoon to recover....
Daddy couldn't come today because he had to go and sort some van things out - that was pretty sad :(
I wore my red polka dot cossie in the end (again photies to follow when Daddy sorts the computer out) cause I am still loving the nautical theme, might wear my pink one next week.
Mummy said I might be able to have swimming lessons in september ooooh.

Farmyard Fun?

Hi all,

No pics again - stupid computer....
I have been trying to figure out what is going on and who is who...my Mummy sings a song to me about 'Old Macdonald' where there are lots of animal noises, Moos, Quacks, Woofs etc...
However, I am called Moo - does that mean I am a cow? My doggies are called Ringo and Peggy but Peg sometimes gets called the Pig - what's that about - is a doggy the same as a piggy? I'm sure I will figure it out at some point over the next 18 years.

Exciting news.......Mummy is taking me swimming tomorrow and Daddy might come too! I have 2 cossies so not sure which one I am going to wear......auntie Zo bought me flip flops from the Gap but not sure if they will fit yet - if Daddy comes I will get him to take some piccies!

Have fun and hopefully I will be able to load my pics up soon

Rufie's Christening!

Hi all,

We had a lovely day today, we went to Nana's church to see Rufie get christened (don't say anything but I might have caught a few Z's during the service - oops!) Mummy took some pics for me though and she said poor Rufie had to do the service while he was hungry! no way I would have held out that long....
anyways, I wore me a new frock, I did start the day with shoes too but they didn't last long...
My other baby friends were there too, Rufie obv. had a cute outfit on - lovely white linen number and socks with crosses on - how clever!
I also thought Lettie and Macey had lovely frocks on, ah, so many outfits and so few days to fit them all in!
Anyways, we were all pretty well behaved - although I did hear Rufie having a little cry over the fence after we came home :( hope he is ok and not too tired out x x

Speaking of which, time for Bo bo's...night all x x

Back online!

Hi all,
Uncle Dan came round with antee Em for a chinese last night, and Dan took the time to sort the interweb out - YAY! so good news all, I am back online....I did use Daddy's laptop for a few days (see pic) but couldn't upload any pics from it.

We have been to Brimstage Hall today, cause Daddy wanted to go and look and geek stuff in a special shop there...it was ok I suppose but not much there for babies - I wore a frock from Uncle Paul and Auntie Zo today - its from Nature's Purest and is awful soft:

also - note my new toy caterpillar.....it was a present from my new aussie friend Claudia, who we went to visit on Friday (she belongs to Mummy's friend Natasha) - she was wearing a super cute frock too!

anyways - early night to get ready for my friend Rufie's christening - still haven't decided what to wear eeeeeek!

worrying times

Hi all, sorry (again!) that I haven't been on for a while, daddy can't get the interweb to work so haven't been able to show you any of my lovely new outfits or pics of my recent exploits!.
I have managed to get on his work laptop quickly - but only because he hasn't gone to work today cause he said he hasn't got any tools left to sell, someone called 'robbin bastard' has took them all out of his van last night - not heard of him before!?
anyway, a policeman and grandad are helping daddy with all that stuff so hopefully he will cheer up soon x
On a happier note, my friend Rufie is getting christened in Nana's church on Sunday so I get to wear a cute frock and see all my baby friends...pics defo to follow x

Baby Milestones

Hi all,
Sorry haven't been on for a few days, had my jabs on tuesday and not been feelin' too hot - but another early night should do it...think Mummy and Daddy missed a night out too - oops, although don't know why they thought auntie Em couldn't cope, she's well chilled.
Mummy and I went to 'Bumps to Babes' today - some lessons for Mummy about what i am going to be up to over the next few months..it was baby massage today and I couldn't join in 'cause of my jabs - gutted :( It was very funny though, all my other baby friends were naked and crying (except Lewis) and I got to sit and watch, fully clothed - ha ha ha!

Saturday 3 July 2010

International Fashion

Hey all, remember I told you about my friend Rufie and his american clothes.....well his mummy isn't too well at the mo so I haven't been able to investigate this further yet, so big hugs and get well soon to Rufie's mummmy x
I can however, show you mine! I received this darling little frock in the post not long after my birthday, from Chi-town in the USA, of all the places.....my auntie Karen (and uncle Andy) live there and chose this little beauty for me
check out the cute ruffle collar - there is also some cute applique detail around the hem (also, I have just noticed that it seems to be my 'sleeping on Daddy' dress!?)

Moo x

Vive la France!

Grandma has just returned from a Vacance in Bordeaux (mummy said it because Grandma and her friends are 'Wino's' or something!?), she said she wanted to buy me some french chic but couldn't find any baby boutiques - how sad :(
However, on her return home we had a little coffee and cake in the usual cafe and then had a little look in the baby shop in Frodsham called 'Just Kidz'.....2 minutes later and Grandma had parted with many pounds to buy me 2 super cute outfits - how exciting! The outfits are from France too!

This is a lovely cotton frock from 'Alphabet' will post the other pic when the frock comes out of the wash (yes the usual happened..)

Nautical but nice!?

Well! Saturday was a very busy fun-packed day, a little too hot for me but shouldn't complain.
I attended the Kingsley Local Produce Market, which was full of lovely local food stuffs...Mummy bought lots of Happy Beef for a BBQ and then many cake.
I had a little nap and then we watched the Kingsley Carnival parade (which I am defo gonna be in next time!) and checked out the entries in the best scarecrow competition (again, gonna win next time!). The theme for the carnival was the Circus, so the floats had lots of animals on and there was even bearded ladies!
So, anyway, the point of my blog entry today was that me, Mummy, Uncle Dan and Auntie Em decided to go nautical, check out the outfits!...........................

Summer Days

Hi all...ok, firstly I have to take back what I said about the football - Daddy said I lacked faith in our national team by doubting them, and they did get through to the next round...so 'Go England' for sunday x
Wimbledon brings us a record breaking match - 80 sets or something, all I know is that I can't keep an outfit clean for more than a few hours and I have only got one tennis dress, so a 3 day match is no good for me!
Mummy has been very busy making pretty bunting for a wedding related garden party (check it out on folksy here), she is trying to get me into sewing and crafty stuff early by making me sit with her in in the sling while she sews - it looks a bit like hard work to me?
