Nautical but nice!?

Well! Saturday was a very busy fun-packed day, a little too hot for me but shouldn't complain.
I attended the Kingsley Local Produce Market, which was full of lovely local food stuffs...Mummy bought lots of Happy Beef for a BBQ and then many cake.
I had a little nap and then we watched the Kingsley Carnival parade (which I am defo gonna be in next time!) and checked out the entries in the best scarecrow competition (again, gonna win next time!). The theme for the carnival was the Circus, so the floats had lots of animals on and there was even bearded ladies!
So, anyway, the point of my blog entry today was that me, Mummy, Uncle Dan and Auntie Em decided to go nautical, check out the outfits!...........................

Summer Days

Hi all...ok, firstly I have to take back what I said about the football - Daddy said I lacked faith in our national team by doubting them, and they did get through to the next round...so 'Go England' for sunday x
Wimbledon brings us a record breaking match - 80 sets or something, all I know is that I can't keep an outfit clean for more than a few hours and I have only got one tennis dress, so a 3 day match is no good for me!
Mummy has been very busy making pretty bunting for a wedding related garden party (check it out on folksy here), she is trying to get me into sewing and crafty stuff early by making me sit with her in in the sling while she sews - it looks a bit like hard work to me?

Tennis-tastic!

What a relief - something other than football to get our teeth in to..I know daddy really likes it but England were a little bit rubbish on friday and we might need a distraction after wednesday!?
I popped a pic of my new tennis stylee frock (notice my spotty pants too - cheeky ;)), what with all the lovely weather us girls should be frocking up.
Here's a few more options for you tennis fans out there:

must dash, nearly Pimms o'clock! x x

Happy Father's Day

I wanted to make my dad a card but Mummy said it was better that we buy one this year, that I could make cards when my motor skills are a bit more refined - hey whatever!?
I had a little look online and thought it would be funny to buy a card from Moonpig, and put a lovely photo of me and Daddy on it.....I chose a card with Tools on it because Mummy calls him a tool geek (he sells them too!).

I have been to visit another baby today, Rufus Albie, what a cutie! He has clothes from America too! I will be having a look at the websites he buys from and letting you know if I find any goodies....

I have had a lovely week with my daddy and am sad that he has to go back to work tomorrow, but he said we can look forward to our next 'jollys' in September, we are going to another country, somewhere called 'Wales'! Think I might research 'Wales' online this week, it might be my Folksy Friday theme....wait and see x x

Football Fever

Gosh, what a busy weekend! Sorry I haven't updated you all, Daddy said I had to watch all the football games with him, which took up lots of my time (although I have to admit I probably slept through most of it!).
I met up with my friends in the pub again today and some of them have really got in to the spirit of the world cup and bought little outfits!
I found these cuties for sale:

On Monday, I was busy at the summer sales ( I know, I know, I already have enough clothes yeah yeah...) got myself some cracking little numbers, which I will be revealing in good time x

Anyways, my Daddy is off work looking after me this week so I am kinda a little pre-occupied cause I am normally asleep when he gets home from work, so don't see him lots. I will be back asap x x

ps. Go England :)

Folksy Friday

So, as there are lots of blogs that have been kind enough to feature mummy's garden cushion on their Folksy Friday, I thought I better start my own.

Today we have been literally smelling the roses, they are mummy's favourite flowers and that's why my middle name is Rose!

Here is a couple of beauties from our garden, the lighter rose is Blue Moon it only has a few large flowers but it is the only true blue rose and smells absolutely divine x The darker blue rose is Rhapsody in Blue, it has lots of smaller flowers and still has a lovely smell.

So, if you hadn't guessed it, Rose is the theme for todays Folksy Friday..........;

Pub...again!?

Hi all, yesterday saw me visiting the pub - yet again! Met up with auntie H + A for lunch. Lovely x

Frocked up for the occasion as I didn't want to disappoint anyone, although H + A had decided the dress code was English Riviera and failed to mention it to me or Mummy.

....notice the lovely bum ruffles - they are de rigour don't you know. It just shows that looking good doesn't have to be expensive as this little ensemble was a snatch at just 10 squids (tights, top + frock) from TU @ Sainburys
Also little pic of the frock I mentioned on tuesday x

Rainy day

Went for a little trip out this morning (to the pub), mummy had tea and cake and there were lots of babies there...finally met my friends from the antenatal classes.
I had a lovely dress on, although as soon as I got there I kinda over-filled my nappy and mum had to change me in to a run of the mill romper :(
anyways...my dress was a humphrey's corner dress from Mothercare (photo to follow as it is in the wash!) with a lovely leaf pattern on that reminded me a bit of Orla Kierly's patterns, which led me to thinking if only she made clothes......hey presto after a little bit of surfing look what I found:

I found that the Summer issue of Small Magazine is out - check it out - www.smallmagazine.net it's full of beautiful ideas for summer and so many lovely, lovely things..... I will have a proper read and pick out some cuties for ya x

Welcome to my world

Hi all, my name is Millicent Rose, I entered the world on the 5th May this year.
I wanted to share my fabulous outfits with you and all the lovely baby things that are out there.

My mummy tends to dress me in a different outfit every day as I was given so many lovely outfits and handmade/knitted gifts when I was born, it's only fair to share - right?

I have also started to look for lovely baby things out there in the big wide world and will give you a shout when I find stuff worth sharing....x x
